A clinically competent, registered professional nurse who delivers care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing for the age groups served.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department and MedSurg units.
- Assesses patients' physical and emotional needs, develops individualized care plans, and implements interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS card or completion of course within 1 year of hire.
- Current PALS card or completion of course within 1 year of hire.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
- Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Demonstrate adequate vision, or correctable with glasses, to read and write.
- Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
- Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (e.g., insert catheters, start IV's, administer medications, and handle instruments).
