Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares and operates equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and a sterile environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Assessment and Care
- Preparation and Maintenance of Equipment
- Serving as a Preceptor for New Hires
This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
A minimum of one year of experience working in a cath lab is preferred, but not required.
