Surgical Technologist

We're seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Tech-FA to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of bringing healing and hope to our communities.

• Provide proper exposure and visibility of the surgical field, ensuring a safe and effective surgical experience for patients.
• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals with surgical procedures, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Surgical Technology experience or degree preferred.
• Certified Surgical First Assistant certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Two years of experience in the Operating Room, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care.
