MRG Exams, a leading healthcare solutions provider, seeks an experienced Veterans Care Specialist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. Proficiency in time management is also essential, with the capacity to stay on task and meet requirements.
**Estimated Salary:** $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
**Job Description**
This is an IN-PERSON position that requires reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal, performing focused physical exams on each Veteran, and documenting exam findings through the same portal. The successful candidate will not make disability determinations, as this responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration.
The role involves performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, with a schedule consisting of three days a week. This position is perfect for individuals interested in working with the veteran community and contributing to their well-being.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
