Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care and attention.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor patients' health by observing and reporting changes in their condition.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with memory care needs or dementia.
  • Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific requirements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community programs as appropriate.
  • Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety of all clients.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and home community care practices is beneficial.
  • CPR certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Familiarity with memory care strategies and dementia care is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and follow individualized care plans effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
