We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Birthing Center Nurse to join our team at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group. As a Family Birthing Center Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers and their families during the birthing process.
Responsibilities- Triage patients to determine if they are in labor, and provide support and care as needed.
- Support pregnant patients in labor, including induction, epidural assistance, and general pain management.
- Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections, tubal ligation, cerclage, and emergency procedures.
- Educate patients on various interventions and procedures, including medications, exams, and labor stages.
- Assess newborns and provide care.
- Communicate effectively with the care management team, including anesthesiologists, physicians, midwives, lactation nurses, charge nurses, and postpartum units.
- Experience working in labor and delivery or a related field.
- Familiarity with fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
