Job Summary:We are looking for a nurturing individual who is committed to enhancing the student's educational experience and ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:- Provide personalized nursing care to the student during school hours.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assist with daily activities, including mobility and self-care tasks.
- Accompany the student on the school bus, ensuring their safety during transportation.
- Implement individualized care plans and participate in health-related assessments.
- Communicate effectively with the student's family and school staff regarding their health needs.
- Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
