We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as an Ambassador for our Achieve Atlanta program. As an Ambassador, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success and personal growth of our Scholars.
Key Responsibilities- Provide social and emotional support to Scholars through outreach activities, including phone calls, emails, and text messages.
- Plan and execute activities and events that promote persistence and completion for Scholars.
- Contribute to the development of social media content that fosters a sense of community among Scholars and informs them of important deadlines.
- Meet with Scholars to understand their needs and provide guidance and support.
- Facilitate activities and events that support persistence and completion for Scholars.
- Communicate regularly with the Campus Support Team and Achieve Atlanta College Success staff to identify Scholar needs or concerns and discuss solutions.
- Must be a currently enrolled Clayton State University student.
- Must maintain a minimum 2.5 institutional GPA, with a 3.0 preferred institutional GPA.
- Must be a 2020, 2021, or 2022 Achieve Atlanta Scholar.
Clayton State University is a public university located in Morrow, Georgia, approximately 15 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta. The university offers a range of academic programs, including certificates, associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees. As an Ambassador, you will be part of a team that is committed to providing high-quality education and advancing workforce development in the state of Georgia.
