Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join our team at Southeastern Equipment Company. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing necessary repairs, service, and maintenance work in our shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough functionality and safety tests on heavy equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, and structural issues
  • Utilize strong 12/24 volt electrical and hydraulic knowledge to troubleshoot problems
  • Read and understand electrical/hydraulic schematics to identify and repair issues
  • Utilize technology, including laptops and tablets, to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and EPA regulations
Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks without restrictions
  • At least three years of experience in shop, field service, maintenance, and repair
  • High school diploma or trade school certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
