Position Overview

LMI is in search of a proficient Front End or Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid/Senior) to provide expertise in software applications for a client.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineers, software developers, and various stakeholders to deliver systems and software application expertise, translating intricate systems to fulfill client requirements. The analysis products generated will cater to a diverse audience, including high-level officials within the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Executive Branch. The ideal candidate will thrive in an innovative atmosphere, tackling challenging inquiries and assisting in the formulation of those inquiries.

  • Utilize your development skills to create a fully integrated application tailored to client specifications.
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders to establish requirements.
  • Design reusable components as part of a comprehensive enterprise system.
  • Create high-quality user experiences and workflows across applications.
  • Exhibit a strong grasp of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Support the development team in executing design specifications, offering technical advice when custom solutions are necessary.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders in both technical and layman's terms.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas.
  • Collaborate in an Agile development environment with other teams.
  • Participate in backlog grooming and requirements reviews.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies.
  • Utilize agile project management tools to monitor tasks and report progress.
  • Break down complex requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Demonstrate your developments to clients.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of web development tools.
  • Proficient in web frameworks.
  • Experienced with Git for version control.
  • Ability to manage versioning and publishing of UI component libraries and style guides.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for innovation and learning new technologies.
  • Demonstrated reliability and adaptability.
  • Comfortable working within a team structure.
  • Ability to initiate and complete projects independently.
  • Must possess a minimum Secret Clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI is required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in the space domain.
  • Familiarity with both Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • 3 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.

Compensation: Target salary range is $96,000 - $168,000. Final compensation will be influenced by various factors, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.
