Job SummaryThe ICU/CCU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rate.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IVs and catheters.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Active RN license in good standing.
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
