Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our team at OU Health - 700 NE 13th. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care activities, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and promote patient satisfaction.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services, applying nursing techniques and standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Able to maintain good working relationships with other employees and participate in unit-based teamwork.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
