Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service, scan and/or enter numbers on the register, lift and move goods, make change, bag orders, and assist with special projects as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of the shift.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
• Tally items, take money, and make change.
• Bag items and put bags into carts whenever necessary.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory period.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
