Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The Laurels of Carson City. As a Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care to our residents, as well as supervising and mentoring our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other team members to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Provide safe and accurate medication administration, as well as assess and respond to changes in resident health status.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Contribute to resident assessments and care planning, ensuring that each resident receives the highest level of care and service.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
  • CPR certification.
