Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist to join our team at North Bend Medical Center in Coos Bay, Oregon. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients admitted to our hospital, which is a level III trauma center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients' medical conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering diagnostic tests and medications
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Unrestricted Oregon MD/DO licensure and DEA registration
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related specialty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
