Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Williamson Health Medical Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional clinical nursing support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

About the Role:

As an LPN, you will be responsible for communicating with patients and businesses, scheduling tests and consultations, obtaining clinical specimens, assessing patients, performing clinical office procedures, and maintaining adequate clinical supplies. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and outstanding patient experiences.

Requirements:

  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Licensed by the State of Tennessee
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office environment
  • Competent in using Glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, stethoscope, audio scope, business phone, and various oral and injectable medications

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record patients' medical history and vital signs
  • Give patients immunizations and injections as appropriate
  • Counsel patients on health-related issues
  • Order and maintain clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals
  • Coordinate referrals & consultations to other medical services
  • Perform phlebotomy for outpatient clinics
  • Triage phone calls and address patient portal messages
  • Obtain prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing
  • Assist physicians with med/surg procedures
  • Process physician orders for patient lab tests
  • Maintain quality assurance for office labs
  • Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure patients have adequate supplies of medicine

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
