Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Assistant

WJM Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Assistant to provide exceptional medical services to our clients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized care plans to meet their medical requirements.
  • Administer medications, oxygen, and other medical treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare patients for medical procedures and ensure their safety during treatment.
  • Monitor and maintain medical equipment, including cardiac monitors and defibrillators.
  • Inventory and manage medical supplies, including medications and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited program.
  • 12 months of experience in a medical setting within the past 36 months.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Documents:
  • Current resume, including education, experience, and certifications.
  • Certificate or Associate degree from an accredited school of Medical Assisting.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider.
  • At least three (3) letters of recommendation from recent employers.
