Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at UPMC - Pittsburgh Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in providing essential visualizations for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic group of radiologists and imaging techs to provide high-quality diagnostic images. You'll work closely with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Your duties will include:

  • Operating imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI units.
  • Positioning patients correctly for diagnostic procedures.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborating with radiologists to interpret images and provide diagnostic results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-approved school.
  • ARRT Registry eligibility as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • CPR or BLS certification.
  • Ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
