Our Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will adhere to departmental procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This role will perform ultrasound procedures, maintain equipment and supplies, and manage associated paperwork. Additionally, the Specialist will participate in clinical activities, such as assisting with patient flow and care, performing testing, and supporting providers.
Responsibilities include:
* Performing ultrasound procedures, including portable and maintenance tasks
* Maintaining equipment, supplies, and associated paperwork
* Participating in clinical activities, such as patient flow and care
* Assisting providers with testing and patient care
* Participating in clerical activities, including registration, scheduling, and filing
Requirements include:
* Graduation from an accredited Sonography school or program
* ARDMS Certification
* Expected training in elastography, thyroidectomies, pediatrics, PVRs, TCDs, GYN exams, and vascular exams
*Either ARDMS or RVT certification is required within 12 months of hire date, with departmental extensions possible based on job performance
