Job Overview

Agriland FS is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the operations team at our location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the operations team with a strong focus on mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and lead preventative maintenance projects with the operations team to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Coordinate product delivery and oversee product application to meet customer needs.
  • Assist with the application and delivery of agronomy products to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Maintain shop tools and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of operational personnel to build a strong and skilled team.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate the operations team.
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with all required endorsements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent business skills with experience in budgeting and inventory management.
  • Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ability to effectively operate all equipment at the facility to ensure efficient operations.
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work hours beyond normal to meet business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience or strong understanding of Ag Retail preferred to ensure a deep understanding of the industry.
