Position Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Schedule: 7pm - 7am / Full Time / 36 Hours
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse in Critical Care to join our 32-bed open ICU. This role offers:

About the Role
The ideal RN candidate will be a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care, possessing a thorough understanding of the specific patient population. You will utilize your knowledge, theory, research, and experience to adapt to changes in clinical situations. Responsibilities include:
- Communicating effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members while delivering safe and effective care independently using the nursing process.
- Demonstrating advanced assessment skills and understanding the impact of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.
- Accurately documenting the nursing process in the appropriate formats (e.g., electronic records, clinical pathways, charts) and planning and implementing patient care autonomously.
- Incorporating patient and family input in care planning while managing time efficiently and integrating the AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice.
- Revising and evaluating the effectiveness of patient care documentation based on evidence-based research.
- Achieving points and contact hours as outlined in the clinical lattice point system to maintain your position.
Minimum Qualifications
- A valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the appropriate Licensing Board.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS may be necessary in designated departments.
