Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Health Care for the Homeless. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral, to adult patients in our clinics.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and self-management.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland, with Board Certification in PMHNP.
  • Current CDS and DEA with DATA 2000 waiver licenses.
  • BLS CPR certification.
  • Three years of direct clinical care experience, preferably in a community or public health setting working with vulnerable populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with homeless and/or low-income individuals and families.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
