Mixologist

The Waters Of Minocqua is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, preparing beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

• Provide excellent guest service by greeting and acknowledging every guest, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Conduct bar opening procedures, including stocking inventory, preparing garnishes, and cleaning the bar area.
• Receive orders from guests and waitstaff, and prepare liquor, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Ring orders and take payment via POS system.
• Follow all state and local laws, as well as property policies and procedures regarding service of alcoholic beverages.
• Perform proper bar closing procedures, including cleaning and locking the bar area.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards.

• Experience in front of house or similar restaurant operations is preferred.
• Wisconsin approved bartender certification, e.g., SERV Safe, is required within 30 days of hiring.

• Long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are frequently required.
• Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift and perform frequent physical activity.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Must be able to climb stairs occasionally.
