About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Sagora Senior Living Inc. in Tomball, TX. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare à la carte items and maintain stock levels
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
  • Assist with training of culinary team members
  • Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
  • Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner
Requirements
  • One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's permit as regulated by state and local authorities
  • Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members
