Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Cheshire Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues. Your expertise will be essential in helping our medical team diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Conduct ultrasound procedures, taking care to ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Review and analyze ultrasound images to identify any abnormalities or issues
  • Communicate findings to medical staff and patients, providing clear and concise information
Requirements:
  • Certificate from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
