As a Nutrition Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by preparing and serving nutritious meals to patients, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to patients, families, visitors, and staff, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes to ensure food safety.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure optimal nutritional care in all healthcare food service operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for the safety of employees, patients, and guests.
  • Support team members in all areas of food services, including cashier, stocking, cleaning, tray service, dishwashing, and food storage.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire.
