Job Title: RN Night Supervisor

Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Night Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role:

The RN Night Supervisor will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Prepare and administer medications, and record adverse reactions in accordance with policy.
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures and record medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays.
  • Initiate corrective action when patients display adverse symptomatology.
  • Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
  • Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
  • Participate in discharge planning and record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely.
Requirements:
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Current RN or LPN license in the current state.
  • Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
