Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Giles Nissan Opelousas. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Test and inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
  • ASE Certification preferred.
  • B-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
  • Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with others effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
