Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Della Infotech is a 50-bed unit that serves as a regional referral center and a designated Level I Trauma Center. Our team provides comprehensive care to pediatric patients and their families, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, meningitis, seizures, sepsis, and multi-system organ failure.
  • Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, specialty nurses, and multiple specialty services to coordinate patient care.
  • Float to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) as needed.
  • Meet the requirements for BLS (AHA) certification and maintain active licensure in the District of Columbia.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in Peds ICU and Trauma.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend.
  • No call requirements.
Certification and Licensure
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Active licensure in the District of Columbia.
