Position Overview

Job Title: Travel-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Ridgewood, NJ

Contract Duration: 9 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation: $19 per hour

Note: Compensation varies based on residency in relation to the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and eating.
  • Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and document findings.
  • Assist patients with mobility, including transferring to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
  • Ensure patient comfort and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Communicate any significant changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Help prepare and transport patients for medical treatments or examinations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and attention to detail.
