The Internal Medicine division at Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is in search of a dedicated Nocturnist Hospitalist. This role entails working 13 overnight shifts each month.

The hospitalist is tasked with delivering direct medical care to adult patients admitted to the hospital. Additionally, the hospitalist will provide internal medicine consultations for surgical and other specialty patients. This care is executed in close collaboration with nursing personnel, care coordinators, and fellow physicians, ensuring a seamless healthcare experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and facilitate timely hospital discharges.
  • Maintain effective communication with primary care providers, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Obtain necessary consultations and manage patient care from admission through discharge, including all transitional phases.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, with potential subspecialty training.
  • Experience with airway management and intubation is essential.
  • Must possess an unrestricted Medical License and DEA in Michigan (MD/DO).
