Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to make a significant difference in the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. In this role, you will assist young learners in overcoming their speech and language obstacles, facilitating their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Perform assessments utilizing standardized testing and clinical observations to determine speech and language requirements.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Create and execute tailored therapy strategies to address a range of communication disorders.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside educators, parents, and other professionals to cultivate a supportive environment for student achievement.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and modify therapy plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must possess or be eligible for a Michigan SLP license.
  • Certification: ASHA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential.
