Baton Rouge General is seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit team. As a Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients, providing high-quality care and support to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care processes, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and support services.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy behaviors and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred.
- Current Louisiana RN licensure.
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Certification encouraged/preferred.
- Addiction Certification encouraged/preferred.
