Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bulk Folder to join our team at Aramark Uniform Services in Duncan, SC. As a Bulk Folder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of merchandise in our industrial laundry facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stage carts in lift tables, secure safety chains, and raise tables to facilitate efficient merchandise handling.
  • Fold and bundle linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and fender/seat covers with precision and accuracy.
  • Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards, including rips, tears, holes, and stains.
  • Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type, ensuring accurate placement in storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to best practices in production activities.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand and follow all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
  • Working knowledge of basic math skills and good verbal and/or written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attendance and punctuality.
Working Conditions

This role is based in a warehouse setting and requires regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. A shift schedule may include weekends, with overtime required as needed.

The position involves repetitive motions, bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting, as well as the use of hands for grasping and other manipulations. Standing and walking for long periods of time are also required.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.
