Occupational Therapist II

El Camino Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with other professionals to promote optimal patient rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Occupational Therapy services as defined by the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act, applying principles and theories of occupational sciences in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to promote optimum patient rehabilitation.
- Provide Occupational Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.
- Demonstrate accountability for, and contribution to, the Department's daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested, exhibiting fiscal responsibility, participating in program development and quality improvement activities, and adhering to the Department's established productivity standards.
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program; Master's degree or Doctorate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience; if working in NICU, at least one year experience in NICU care.
- Meets Career Ladder requirements of Level II Therapist.
- Current valid California Occupational Therapy license.
- Current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association) for Healthcare Provider.
- CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently and involves standing, sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting.
