Job Title: Lathe Machinist Level 3

Snowline Engineering is a leading precision machining facility seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist Level 3 to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts.

About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Lathe Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating CNC machines for production runs
  • Verifying accuracy of machine settings and programmed control data
  • Generating CNC programs and interpreting and editing programs using standard G-code formats
  • Performing quality control inspections and maintaining statistical reporting
  • Collaborating with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10 years of experience working with CNC lathes and or mills
  • Mazak experience is a plus
  • Good math skills, including basic trigonometry
  • General mechanical skills and basic familiarity with hand tools
  • Advanced blue print skills, including knowledge of GD&T tolerances
  • Solid programming skills using G-code format
  • High school diploma or GED
