Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology RN to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a Radiology RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Diagnostic Radiology, CT, and MRI areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient orders, proper procedure, patient identification, and obtain consent before proceeding with any procedure.
  • Establish intravenous (IV) access in preparation for studies requiring IV contrast injections.
  • Monitor patients undergoing procedures, administer medications/contrast media, and accurately document activities.
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of allergy/contrast reaction and respond appropriately.
  • Practice proper sterile technique and adhere to infection control guidelines.
  • Provide post-procedure care and discontinue IV site.
  • Assist in the performance of Interventional Radiology procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a critical care or radiology area required.
  • Meets all required optional and non-optional criteria for Level II as defined at Ladder Program in the Radiology Department at Holy Cross Hospital.
  • Licensed RN in the State of Florida is required. Bachelors of Nursing is preferred (BSN).
  • Current BLS, ACLS are required.
