POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

KEY DUTIES
  • Responsible for cleaning resident living spaces, which includes dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Handles waste disposal by emptying trash and transporting materials to designated areas.
  • May support care staff in maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and elevators.
  • Identifies and reports maintenance needs to the management team.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is mandatory.
  • Experience in a senior living environment is advantageous.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
