Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients prior to their procedures.
- Prepare and manage necessary supplies for each procedure, ensuring accurate accounting of items used.
- Provide assistance to the healthcare provider as required.
- Effectively position and ready patients on the procedure table.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer pain relief and anxiolytic medications as prescribed, while adhering to established safety protocols.
- Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
- Candidates must exhibit proficiency in sterile techniques and the use of specialized equipment in pain management.
- Knowledge of and compliance with radiation safety regulations is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prepare for pain management procedures efficiently.
- Capability to maintain the pace of a dynamic pain management service.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in patient care situations.
- Comprehensive understanding of patient safety and standard precautions is necessary.
- General clinical competency in circulating nursing practices in accordance with established standards is a must.
