Job Summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Hospital's Clinical Neurophysiology Department is seeking a skilled Electroencephalography Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for recording neurophysiologic potentials for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and conditions involving the nervous system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and analyze electroencephalograms (EEGs) to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and families

Requirements
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent
  • Registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET and certified as a Long Term Monitoring Technician
  • Two years of EEG Tech work experience
