Job Summary

Nicolet National Bank is seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of loan files, from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen loan applications, gather required documentation, and verify information to ensure compliance with bank and investor guidelines.
  • Prepare loan files for underwriting, including obtaining and auditing all required information and documents.
  • Ensure quality assets by utilizing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Automated Underwriting System (AUS) and adhering to all GSE guidelines and investor overlays.
  • Produce timely and accurate early disclosures and send to borrowers to meet TRID guidelines.
  • Maintain organized and coordinated loan files, ensuring timely delivery to underwriting and closing specialists.
  • Communicate effectively with retail bankers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED/Associate degree in administration or finance-related field of study.
  • 1-3 years mortgage processing experience required; 3+ years mortgage processing or underwriting experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.
