Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to contribute to our engineering division. This role is essential in supporting our expanding Infrastructure sector. Projects may encompass drainage systems, recreational facilities, concrete water storage solutions, and various types of buildings, including commercial and industrial structures, as well as assessments of compromised structures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee structural engineering projects as a Structural Project Engineer.
  • Conduct on-site observations of structural construction activities.
  • Interpret and review architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Engage in design meetings to discuss project progress.
  • Utilize computer analysis software for structural evaluations.
  • Generate structural design calculations and associated documentation.
  • Develop detailed structural drawings for construction purposes.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of designs and structural drawings.
  • Facilitate project communications and updates.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
  • Draft technical specifications related to structural projects.
  • Evaluate structural shop drawings and submissions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural studies.
  • Professional Engineering license.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Mathcad.
  • Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, STAAD, or SAP.
  • Skilled in preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of managing new challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Experience in project management and/or relevant certifications.
  • Background in reviewing structural construction processes.
  • Interest in ongoing professional development.
  • Structural Engineer registration is advantageous.
