Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in Cooperstown, New York. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating complex medical imaging equipment and providing exceptional patient care.
About the Job
Specializing in echocardiography, you will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with heart-related conditions.
Your expertise will include:
- Operate high-tech medical imaging equipment, such as ultrasound machines
- Perform various cardiac procedures, including echocardiograms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and referring physicians
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current certification as an RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
