">Key Responsibilities
- Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness.
- Familiar with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols.
- May prepare materials and set up for a welding device or robot.
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.
- Support safety and quality programs by following established rules and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to operate a forklift and cranes.
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, including hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, grinders, and banders.
- Ability to use measuring tools, such as tape measures, box calipers, slide dial calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.
- Ability to convert metric to English.
- Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.
- Capable of setting up and operating one or more processing machines.
- Speak, write, and comprehend conversational English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Must pass a MIG welder certification.
- Relevant apprenticeship, experience, or vocational training (preferred).
