Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Yard Hostler to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Yard Hostler, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting tractor trailers on our property, including loading docks and designated parking areas, and to offsite maintenance or inspection facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and move trailers safely following all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe-driving policies.
  • Fuel, move, and park tractors and trailers to the docks.
  • Transport tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
  • Secure trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Complete all required documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • CDL-A
  • Clean MVR
  • Ability to pass DOT Drug and Background.
