CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Marietta, Georgia.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art medical facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or a related field
