Position Overview
The UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Cardiology Inpatient Specialist.
- Become part of a synergistic team that bridges the Division of Hospital Medicine and the Division of Cardiology.
- Experience diverse shifts across Advanced Heart Failure and General Cardiology departments.
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient services to individuals with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and those undergoing heart transplantation.
- Engage in a collaborative care model alongside cardiologists.
- Ensure exemplary medical and cardiac management for patients within the General Cardiology unit.
- Work in partnership with consulting cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Offer specialized medical interventions for patients suffering from cardiac conditions.
- Promote teamwork between the Division of Hospital Medicine and the Division of Cardiology.
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree.
- Board certification or eligibility required.
- Must qualify for licensure in California.
- Graduates from reputable internal medicine programs with strong endorsements.

Compensation Details
- The base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100.
- Participation in the health sciences compensation plan, which allows for additional earnings.
