Job Summary:
As a key member of the Saint Francis Health System team, the Director of Reimbursement plays a pivotal role in optimizing reimbursement strategies and ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, with experience in cost reporting, reimbursement analysis, and audit management. A Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or a related field is required, with a certification in Public Accounting being highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of reimbursement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
- Direct and resolve issues related to Medicare audits, cost reports, and compliance.
- Analyze and provide supporting evidence for successful resolution of cost report audits and appeals.
- Manage and mentor support staff for cost reporting and pro-forma completion.
- Facilitate key leadership discussions to optimize governmental payor realization and strategic initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in reimbursement analysis, cost reporting, and audit management.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform and interpret automated word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. The Saint Francis Health System offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Location:
This position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and requires frequent interaction with internal and external customers, as well as other healthcare professionals and staff.
