Preschool Director

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a qualified candidate for the Principal role with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, provide the best education and care to students, excel in a collaborative environment, and foster positive relationships.

• Coordinate all school operations, including financial planning, community outreach, relationship-building, staffing, teacher development, and implementation of our proprietary curriculum.
• Develop and maintain a safe and orderly climate, ensuring a positive learning environment for students and staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community.
• Ensure compliance with state education and licensing standards, maintaining validation of credentials for the position.
• Oversee program evaluation, employee engagement and management, office operations, and emergency procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services Field.
• 3+ years of experience in a school leadership position (Principal, Assistant Principal, Team Leader, etc.). 1 year of previous teaching experience in a preschool setting.
• Broad knowledge of instructional programs, extracurricular activities, and methods to ensure a safe and orderly climate.
• Previous responsibility for building maintenance, program evaluation, employee engagement and management, office operations, and emergency procedures.
