- Monitor patient progress and medication effects, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments as needed.
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, and mobility, promoting independence and dignity.
- Administer injections, medications, wound care, and basic medical tasks, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collect lab testing samples and maintain accurate records, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families, addressing concerns and providing guidance and reassurance.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or similar healthcare professional.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, prioritizing patient care and safety.
- Knowledge of hospital health and safety standards, ensuring a secure and respectful environment.
- Understanding of confidentiality and nursing best practices, maintaining patient trust and dignity.
- Proficiency in medical and hospital terminology, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and patient care.
- Compassionate and able to manage stress, providing empathetic support to patients and families.
